Mikhailovsky flour mill to store about 400 tonnes of new-crop oats
Mikhailovsky flour mill has accepted for storage about 400 tonnes of new-crop oats. In the nearest time partners of the mill will continue shipping oats for storage, according to Vadim Murunov, Director of the enterprise. Currently, arable units resumed harvesting, which was virtually interrupted by rains in late August, and are conducting underworking of oats.
Mikhailovsky flour mill also purchased over 1.5 thousand tonnes of new-crop wheat grain from the arable units. It should be noted that all wheat is third grade; the grain is characterized by high gluten content.

Allac Ltd.: winter rye sowing campaign
Arable unit Allac Ltd. (Kamensky district of the Altay Territory), integrated in the structure of PAVA company, the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East, started sowing winter crops.
At present, the planted area is 130 ha of winter rye. Seeds of elite sorts “Chulpan” and “Vlada” were bought for the campaign. Both sorts are short-stemmed, resistant to lodging. Overall, the unit plans to sow 1,5 thousand ha of winter rye. The campaign is conducted with new machinery – Canadian seeder unit “Morris”.

OJSC “Zauralsky Kreker” ships its products to Kyrgyzstan
OJSC “Zauralsky Kreker” (Schutschye, the Kurgan region) is the subsidiary of PAVA (www.apkhleb.ru), one of the three leading grain processors in Russia. The confectionery enterprise continued to expand the geography of overseas shipments. This year, “Zauralsky Kreker” products appeared in Georgian stores for the first time. In July, 2008 the sample consignment of crackers was shipped to Kyrgyzstan.

OJSC PAVA: enlarging the base of clients in Thailand
The largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East OJSC PAVA maintains its collaboration with Thailand. In late April, 2008 PAVA signed the first contract for flour shipment to this country. And a few months later another Thai company became interested in the products of the Altay grain processor. Soon, products for the second partner from Thailand who plans to supply Russian flour to confectionery enterprises in Bangkok, will be shipped from Rebrikha flour mill (the Altay Territory). Thailand will receive first-grade flour produced by PAVA.

PAVA makes a charity contribution for a local school development
Altay grain processor PAVA made a charity contribution to a rural school before new school year. One of arable enterprises in the PAVA structure is situated in Allac village of the Kamensky district, and it takes an active part in social life of the community. Aid for the local school is a good tradition of the enterprise. The school’s canteen is regularly supplied with cereals, flour and vegetable oil of Allac Ltd. own production.

PAVA signs a contract for shipment of flour to a South-Korean confectionery enterprise
This year, the best exporter of the industry in 2007 (according to the results of the competition held by Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade) Altay grain processor PAVA continued to expand the geography of foreign sales. In July, South Korea was added to the list of overseas countries having contracts for shipments of PAVA products. One of the confectionery enterprises in the country became the new partner of the company.

PAVA: agreements for new crop purchases
Specialists from OJSC PAVA and their partners entered into first contracts for new crop purchases. Subsidiaries and structural subdivisions of the company receive wheat and grey crops – rye, barley, oats.
Experts of the company note that yields of the grain crops on the already cultivated areas are a little lower (approximately 4 – 5%) than last year; however, first harvests show that Altay growers produced quality grain: the main bulk of the harvested product is no lower than third grade, with high gluten content.

Altay company PAVA signs a contract for shipment of flour and cereals to Tajikistan
PAVA (www.apkhleb.ru) continues to develop overseas flour markets. This time the contract was signed with a new partner from the Central-Asian state – Tajikistan Republic.
The agreement was reached after delegates from the Sogdian Region of Tajikistan officially visited the Altay Territory on July, 30 – August, 2 of the current year.

PAVA makes first shipment of its products to Kazakhstan
In early July, 2008, specialists of the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East OJSC PAVA (www.apkhleb.ru) signed the first contract with the company’s partners from Kazakhstan. PAVA’s arable units grow sunflower among other crops
This year, arable units of the grain-processing company PAVA (www.apkhleb.ru) (the Altay Territory) according to the newly introduced crop rotation scheme made a decision to cultivate a whole number of crops including sunflower. Production of this oilseed crop is one of the most profitable in plant cultivation.
In the current year, in OJSC ‘Selhozholding’ (the Romanovsky district) over 700 ha was sown with sunflower. In the neighbouring Volchihinsky district, where a separate unit ‘Seliverstovo’ is located, sunflowers will emerge for the first time as well.
