From May 4 to 8, 2008, the city of Sfax Tunesia hosted a major international biotechnology symposium which was jointly organized by the International Biotechnology Engineering center (ICGEB), the University of Sfax and the Tunisian Union of Industry, commerce and handicrafts (UTICA).
