The Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) will be holding its biennial General Assembly from 6th to 12th June 2005, in Entebbe, Uganda at the Imperial Resort Beach Hotel. FARA Biennial General Assembly brings together the Sub-regional organizations (SROs), national agricultural research system (NARS), international agricultural scientific community, farmers’ organization, governments, nongovernmental organizations, the international donor community and the private sector. The theme of this year’s conference is: "Innovation to transform agriculture for improved livelihoods and development in Africa".
