The report of the 30th Session of the Codex Committee on Methods of Analysis and Sampling, that took place on 9-13 March 2009 in Balatonalmadi, Hungary, is now available. Agenda Item 7 was dedicated to "Proposed draft guidelines on criteria for methods for the detection and identification of foods derived from biotechnology" and is covered in paragraphs 93-108 of the report.
