As part of its focus on improving aquatic animal health and safety, the FAO Fisheries and Aquaculture Department has published the Checklist of the parasites of fishes of Latvia. Third in a series, this document summarizes information on the parasites of Latvia fishes presented in the form of parasite-host and hostparasite lists and includes 305 named species of parasites. Previous checklists have been published on Bangladesh, the Philippines and Viet Nam.
