School Meals Matter A Great Deal
Kenya is turning green again. The rains have started, and for that, we must all be thankful. The past two years have been an ordeal for many, struggling on the fringes of survival as a bitter drought wound ever tighter. My visit to this beautiful country as an Ambassador Against Hunger for the World Food Programme comes at a time when over four million people are in need of emergency food assistance. The rains are indeed a blessing, but for many farmers, their impact will only be seen a few months from now.
