Miscellaneous DFID 2007 3 pp. DFID?s new strategy for research on sustainable agriculture aims to get new technologies to poor farmers, and help governments to make better policies. The goal is to reduce poverty, and help to achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
The strategy is made up of 4 components
The Research into Use programme
Four regional research programmes, which will focus on West Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa and South Asia
Responsive research programmes
Support to international agricultural research
