Human Resources Officer (Management and Leadership)

Under the general supervision of the Chief, AFHT and the direct supervision of the Human Resources Officer (Learning) will be responsible for providing professional support and expertise to the Management and Leadership Programme. In particular will:
coordinate the Coaching Programme for FAO managers;
advise post Management Development Centre (MDC) participants on assessing appropriate development needs;
provide advice, design and develop an evaluation process to measure the impact of the management and leadership training programme;
participate in the design of a key communication strategy to support the management leadership;
design and develop an e-News Letter and toolkit for managers as key communication strategies;
participate to the development of the management of leadership curriculum;
provide management support to the Women’s Leadership Programme;
introduce new approaches to staff development and learning and/or modify existing ones to strengthen overall capacity;
collaborate with other UN agencies and organizations to maintain comparative advantage in management and leadership trends;
assist in the design and development of a training programme for General Service level staff;
prepare briefing materials on management and leadership programme and related human resources issues;
coordinate inputs and ensure quality control of external contractors in design and delivery of staff development programmes/materials;
perform other related duties as required.
