UNHCR has begun a winter aid programme in Afghanistan for 200,000 most vulnerable people, mainly internally displaced persons and returnees from Iran and Pakistan.(..)Over 27,400 tons of food aid items have also been prepositioned in 18 of the country’s 34 provinces, the UN WFP reported.
