Under the general supervision of the Director, OED, the incumbent will participate in the management of the Office and all aspects
of evaluation work. In particular, to:
? act as team leader in evaluation studies and reviews;
? manage evaluations of FAO activities;
? lead the preparation of reports and syntheses of evaluations including reports for the Governing Bodies;
? present evaluation reports to the FAO Governing Bodies;
? contribute to the development of information products on the results and lessons from evaluation, including the evaluation
website, and work to disseminate the lessons of evaluation both inside and outside FAO;
? play a lead role in the development of evaluation procedures and methods;
? supervise and manage Evaluation staff and consultants;
? perform other related duties as required.
