DR Congo gov't urges WFP, UNHCR to help consolidate peace

The prime minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo), Adolphe Muzito, on Thursday appealed to the World Food Program (WFP) and the U.N. refugee agency UNHCR to help consolidate peace in the war-torn Central African country. Muzito made the appeal in talks with visiting Josette Sheeeran, the WFP executive director, and Antonio Guterres, the UNHCR commissioner.
